Get your free estimateThe Latch and Post Gate Repair San Antonio Guarantee
Every gate comes down to two parts: the latch that holds it and the post that carries it. That’s the job we focus on, and it’s the job we stand behind. Our guarantee is simple to say and harder to fake: if we fix it, we fix it right, and if it isn’t right, we come back and make it right, no argument and no fine print. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it covers every repair and installation we do in San Antonio, from Alamo Heights to Stone Oak to Helotes. You get a written price before we touch anything, and you get a promise in return: done right, or we make it right.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair and installation. If a hinge we hung or a latch we set fails inside 365 days, we return and fix it at no charge.
- Parts we source and install. We use parts from brands families in San Antonio actually own: LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule. If a part we supplied fails within the coverage period, we handle the replacement.
- Written price before work starts. No estimates that drift, no surprise line items. The number you approve is the number you pay.
- Clean arrival, clean departure. Our technicians wear shoe covers inside your home, lay drop cloths on the floor, and take a photo of the cleanup before they leave. It’s not an upsell; it’s just how we work.
- Honest diagnosis. If the fix is a nine-dollar battery and not a new opener, that’s what we tell you. Cody once spent forty minutes chasing a LiftMaster 858LM that turned out to have a dead remote battery. The service call cost less than the diagnostic head-scratching.
- Respect for your time and your space. We ask before we move anything, we schedule around nap time if quiet matters, and we choose pet-safe lubricants where there’s a choice.

Our Satisfaction Promise
Here’s how it works if something isn’t right. You call us at (325) 252-5195. A live person picks up, nights, weekends, and holidays included. You tell us what’s wrong. We schedule the return visit, and we don’t charge you for it. That’s the whole process, and it’s the same one Cody Beckman has run since Latch and Post Gate Repair opened as part of the Cedarwell family in 2009. There’s no claim form, no waiting period, and no requirement that you prove the defect to three different departments. If our work didn’t hold up, we own it. If we missed something on the first visit, we return and get it right. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is the same in every San Antonio neighborhood we serve, whether the gate is a driveway swing in Terrell Hills or a pedestrian latch in Leon Valley. What protects your gate also protects your peace of mind: a real person answers the phone, a real technician shows up with the right parts, and the work either satisfies you or we keep working.
Licensed & Insured Backing
Paperwork matters. A guarantee is only as good as the company behind it, and our guarantee rests on two things: a state license and an insurance policy, both current and both available upon request. Licensing means our technicians meet the state’s baseline for gate work in Texas. Insurance means that if something goes wrong on your property, you’re not left holding the bill. We’re insured and bonded, which protects your home while we work on it and protects you if a repair doesn’t go as planned. The Cedarwell Care Promise is the name we give the on-site routine: write the price before the work, lay drop cloths and wear shoe covers inside, show you a photo of the cleanup before we leave. The guarantee is the 365-Day Done Right Promise. The license and insurance are the foundation both of them stand on.
